The' Aerosport Mk2' is a slightly heavier version of the hugely popular 'Aerosport' seen elsewhere on the site (click here to view the Aerosport). The principal differences are as follows -

a) The Aerosport Mk2 has a different leather lining, ie. brushed leather and is slightly darker colour.

b) The Aerosport Mk2 is slightly thicker - this seemingly small detail has a more significant impact in how the strap looks and feels on the wrist than you might think.

c) The end of the punched side has a round end instead of the squarer cut end of the Aerosport.

d) It is fitted with a slightly different stainless steel buckle.

e) It's two pounds cheaper !!!

Excellent quality genuine leather watch strap. Classic / vintage Breitling styling. Remborde construction. Water resistant leather, ie, it's treated to resist the penetration of water splashes and perspiration. Heavy duty 'rot-proof' saddle stitched. The buckle is high quality polished stainless steel - no nickel content. Genuine leather lined. Low sheen finish. Like the original 'Aerosport' the Aerosport Mk2 is modeled on an classic Breitling design and while significantly less expensive than the Breitling 'oem' strap the manufacturer hasn't cut corners in the quality, construction or testing departments. The 'Aerosport Mk2' is definitely a very nice piece of kit for any quality watch, regardless of brand !
